Lara Henry

Lara Henry grew up in Tenafly, NJ, visiting Wellfleet every August with her family. She spent her first full summer after graduating high school, and has called Wellfleet home ever since. 

Lara attended UMass Dartmouth and studied English Literature. She waited tables as an aspiring poet, eventually landing at a local environmental consulting company as the permitting coordinator. 

Her love of community took her to a position at the Wellfleet Chamber of Commerce, where she championed local businesses for 7 years. She presently works at Payomet Performing Arts Center in Truro as the Director of Marketing. Her 25 year old self is very proud that older Lara figured out a way to listen to live music and get paid for it.
